QUIC vs. TCP in Lossy Networks: Why QUIC-IP Wins![]() |

Problem: Modern networks drop and reorder packets - think wireless backhaul, edge sites, moving vehicles, or busy data centers. Classic TCP slows down sharply when that happens. Software QUIC improves some things, but it can still hit CPU limits at high speed. Result: your 10G link can behave like a 1-2G link when the network isn’t perfect. What we tested: We compared sustained throughput at 10 Gbps under real “messy network” conditions:
