Design Gateway's super low latency Network IP Cores have been adopted by a strategic customer in Thailand to implement software-based trading algorithms into FPGA Accelerator using AMD/Xilinx's high-level synthesis framework and super low latency trading reference design from Design Gateway. This has resulted in a significant trading latency improvement from millisecond level down to microsecond level or even faster. As our customer has successfully deployed and operated with our FPGA-based Accelerator Solutions, “we are thrilled to announce that our super low latency Network IP Cores and AMD/Xilinx Alveo Accelerator Card have been successfully proven in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). Our IP Cores & Solutions are designed to provide traders with the speed and performance they need to stay ahead of the competition, and we are excited to bring this technology to the Thai stock market.” The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), one of the largest stock exchanges in Southeast Asia, has already switched to Nasdaq-based ITCH protocol for market data and OUCH protocol for order entry since May 2023. This change is expected to be beneficial for traders who are focused on low latency trading. The ITCH and OUCH protocols are suitable for FPGA acceleration and low-latency processing, and have been proven on the Nasdaq exchange over the years. Currently, high-frequency trading volume at The Stock Exchange of Thailand is just around 10%; indicating that there is much room for opportunity since the market has just started to adopt and provide necessary infrastructure for low-latency trading. DG's Low Latency Network IP Suites are designed from the ground up for very low latency requirements. They consist of TCP/UDP offload engine and EMAC cores and are targeted to be used in FinTech applications such as HFT, HST, Market Data Processing and Tick-to-Trade (T2T) systems.
